Our Story

ETHICAL AND TIMELESS, EACH PIECE IS A NOD TO THE QUINTESSENTIAL COOL GIRL.

THE BRAND PHILOSOPHY

What truly matters is how you feel in your clothes, not the number that’s on that little tag in your jeans right? This is why our brands are about what matters the most. To feel good inside out. Choose happy not a size. #feelgood

Les Basics represents a considered edit of staples for your everyday wardrobe. With an emphasis on quality, versatility and fit, we embrace timeless designs that never go out of style.

As a brand, we recognise our responsibility to promote a slower approach to fashion. We produce each piece in limited quantities to preserve natural resources and avoid excess. Our ethos is simple, we stand for quality over quantity and buying less, but buying better.

Inclusive and unpretentious, each capsule is designed to cultivate confidence and hand-made to last. A nod to the quintessential cool girl, our collection of basics are as effortless as they are edgy.

Les.Basics — complex by design, basic by nature.

OUR PEOPLE

Here at Les Basics, we’re advocates for a slower, more considered approach to fashion. When we say things like ethical, responsible and hand-made, we’re not just using clever marketing language, ticking boxes or subscribing to trends. Those are the pillars from which our brand was built; our commitment to social responsibility underpins everything we do.

Our close knit team work together in creative partnership with one guiding vision, shared values and mutual respect. The journey from design concept through to capsule completion is as collaborative as it is creative, with each team member bringing a unique skill set to the process.

We deeply value the fair treatment of the talented artisans behind each capsule and are genuinely committed to having a positive impact on their livelihoods. We are dedicated to being at the forefront of meaningful change; empowering our team through equality.

"I did create Les.Basics and FRED DENIM brand as a way of freedom and happiness. The idea was to live a life driven by adventure under the sun, surrounded by palm trees, swimming in the ocean and living in the moment. To live THE SUNDAY LIFE #thesundaylife
